About Me

Originally from a direct marketing background I’ve been working with digital marketing projects of all shapes and sizes for over ten years, both as an agency project manager and a client marketer.  Brands have included AutoTrader, Goldfish, thetrainline.com, BBC TV Licensing, Beazley, DTZ, World Vision, Business Link for London, Air Canada and JP Morgan.   

Some of the work I enjoy best is helping clients design, test and implement digital strategies.  But I also love managing big web projects.   Basically, if there are post-it notes and workshops involved then I’m happy.

In 2006 I was commisioned by Econsultancy to conduct a ground breaking piece of research into web project management best practice, and subsequently helped them design a successful training course focussing on adapting agile project management methods for web projects.  I also collaborate with my colleague Sarah Alder to deliver “Project Skills for Digital Marketers” for Econsultancy.  I’m a qualified Prince 2 Practitioner, although in real life I borrow heavily from Agile approaches. 

Whatever it takes to get the job done, that’s what I say!
