About Me
Stuart Bruce is an international communications consultant and trainer specialising in digital corporate communications, online PR, digital public affairs and social media. He is consistently listed in the PRWeek Power Book of the UK's top 1% of most influential PR people. In 2003 he started one of the world's first PR blogs which is consistently ranked as one of the top PR blogs in Europe. He is a co-author of Share This: The Social Media Handbook for PR Professionals.
Based in the UK Stuart works globally providing communications strategy, consultancy and training to companies, NGOs, politicians and governments throughout Europe, the Middle East, USA and Far East. He is a regular conference speaker and international media commentator on all aspects of online and digital communications.
In 2007 he co-founded a multiple award-winning public relations consultancy and in less than four years grew it to become a PRWeek Top 150 Consultancy and Top 30 Digital Consultancy working with clients such as Unilever, Sony Ericsson, GSK, First Direct, PayPal, and HSBC. In 2011 he worked with the United Nations in New York to produce the world's first research into the use of social media by FT Global 500 companies to support corporate social responsibility (CSR)
He has more than 23 years' experience and has been doing online PR since the mid-90s. He is a founding member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations social media advisory panel.
