About Me
A fourteen + year veteran of the interactive business, having worked at Modem Media from 1996 - 2005, and currently engaged in developing a boutique marketing consultancy. All told, over 16 years of experience spanning the areas of interactive, database, and promotional marketing.
As a VP in Modem Media's Marketing Strategy Group, I was focused primarily on clients in the travel vertical, helping them to develop strategies to capture a greater share of the online travel market. Since 2001, those efforts included a primary focus on search engine marketing. I oversaw all areas of search engine marketing (SEO, PPC, and Paid Inclusion) for Modem Media clients.
Prior to joining Modem Media, I worked for four years in database marketing for a major computer hardware and software catalog company, and was involved in the launch of the company’s original online presence. Additionally, I spent over three years working for Council Travel/CIEE, the United States' oldest and largest student travel organization. While there, I implemented promotional and database marketing strategies and programs for the student travel market.
