Extensive knowledge of the digital channel and its healthcare applications, including new platforms, new internet domains names and social media technologies.  Broad range of skills, ranging from strategy development and communications to tactical execution and project management, very quickly adapting to change. Career History

Strategy Advisor at Roche - Global Partnering
From June 1, 2010 and still in this role.

Mapping of the new competitive landscape, establishing a strategic dialog with senior management. Exploring major trends that may affect the company’s business model in future, requiring new capabilities, focusing on new players and the role of information to maintain innovation. Part of a small team developing a set of hypotheses, generating a factbase in support of recommendations to integrate to the strategy agenda. Helping identify new players and establishing new collaborations.

Head of Global eMarketing at Roche - Strategic Marketing
From March 1, 2009 until June 1, 2010.

Grew and managed the global team of eMarketing consultants supporting the key brand teams. Reprioritized projects on key brands and affiliates (including Emerging markets). Worked closely with the international business teams, ensuring continuing support and guidance : • Conducting online market research, operational and strategic planning activities. • Developing shared tactics e.g. congress webcasts, content placement, global portals etc. • Led best-practice and global online content-sharing project at global and local level, • Developed and ran eMarketing Insight, Best-Practice and Sharing sessions with global brand managers to provide guidance in developing their Annual Marketing Plans. Drove global eMarketing input into prelaunch readiness oncology project addressing limited field force support. Strengthened relationships and alignment with key internal stakeholders, including regional and key local eMarketing, Genentech eMarketing, global Informatics. Managed a combined budget of over CHF 4 millions, not including brand online promotion.

Global eMarketing Strategist at Roche - Strategic Marketing
From August 1, 2005 until February 1, 2009.

In charge of global eMarketing for Oncology products – developed global online strategy (2007Q3/Q4) as part of the In-Field Effectiveness program, piloted in 2008, rolled out 2008-2009 across multiple geographies and brands. On-going support of global business teams, management of digital agencies, instilling principles of measurement, off-line integration and alignment with key business drivers. Managing relationship with Global Informatics in planning and prioritization of needs, defining metrics, establishing review processes, monitoring, budgeting, global policies.

Education and Qualifications

MD, MBA, MSc, ECPM (European Certificate in Pharmaceutical Medicine) Started my career in the computer industry, reflecting a passion for technology, carrying out research in artificial intelligence. French national, fluent in English, with conversational and written Mandarin Chinese.
