We are already running a blog on the subdomain www.blog.domain.com.
I am trying to decide whether it would be better to post articles to the blog or to have another section of the site which provides content in a similar format to an online magazine (e.g. in the style of www.glamourmagazine.co.uk <http://www.glamourmagazine.co.uk> ).
I feel that users are more likely to see the site as a resource if the content is set out like a magazine.
Depends on what you are trying to achieve really. If you are looking to create a standalone "authority" site with lots of original content and information then a standalone blog would probably be better. if you are looking to increase the amount of quality content on a trading site then it's best to use it as domain.com/blog as the content will count towards the main domain.
Question needs more qualification as to the purpose and, better still, an actual link to the site.

Does anyone have any thoughts?
