Last Sept we started a job board in the Middle East, targeting mid to senior level business people. We are using the Madgex product, which is really good for SEO. We mainly market via PPC, so between paid and organic the quantity of traffic is not a problem. However we are struggling with the quality of traffic.

Does anyone have any advice on how we can attract mid to senior professionals, even if this reduces the overall quantity of users?

    Hi Caroline,

I agree with John - go to where they already are.

    That would probably include linkedin.

    Hope that helps

Yes, you need to follow them to every angle where they are. But my learned friends failed to show you how to get there. Going to where they are does not mean conversion irrespective of whether you contact them personal or not.

To achieve your aim and or objectives I suggest concentrating on "social media marketing". Through social media marketing, you will need to create tests to find out what works best or not. We call this "tested marketing strategies" Also, if your team is significant in their numbers then you have huge chance of success. Your team may include friends and friends of friends. This is just one way to get to where your prospective customers by using your team."Team-work"

To achieve quality traffic, you will need expertise in advertising methods. You will need to produce copy that is of the same level with your prospective customers.

One important factor is press releases that about your services. A good quality PR will take you a long way. However, you will need to be able to craft appealing headlines and copy.

Successful Headlines can be divided into three categories as follows

    • Self Interest
    • News
    • Curiosity

Since you are a new company, many will be sceptical. Therefore, powerful and but genuine testimonies will become an asset to your business. Use video testimonies as well and make these videos viral. Once  testimonies have gone viral, people will start to talk about you and your company services.

Finally, get those customers that have already found jobs through you to bring in quality traffic. Nothing better than this last paragraph.

    Good Luck
