    Hi!

We are planning to offer advertising in different 3rd party e-mailing lists to our clients. We would like to have unified statistics and reporting. We would act as an intermediary between advertisers and pretty dispersed e-mailing list owners.

Do you know of any similar successful case study, business model or company offering similar service to advertisers?

What kind of platform do you recommend for statistics (I guess we will not be able to unify delivery platform, since we will only "insert" ads to 3rd party mailings)? We would like to track open rate, CTR, CTOR.

Are there any pricing benchmarks available, like CPM for different types of mailing lists / mailings (segmented, personalized), industries, ...?

Thank you for any help in this direction!

    Tomaz,

A lot of these statistics would be dependant on the email marketing platform that you'd use.  You could get some partial statistics via a custom-made banner management system though.  It's hard to make specific recommendations without knowing more about exactly what you are trying to achieve and how you are trying to do that.  But feel free to contact me and I will be happy to help if I can.

    Dear Denis,

What I am trying to achieve? I will need to run an advertising campaign (probably image banner or an HTML ad) across 5-10 3rd party email lists. List owners will use their own email marketing platform. But I would still like to have the best possible unified statistics. Any idea how to achieve this?

    Thank you,
    TomazL

ok, I see.  In that case you will definately need something custom made.  Generally speaking your statistics will be very much dependent on the email marketing platforms the various list owners will use.  You can make things simpler if they all use the same platform and you then customise that for measuring statistics.  Otherwise it is quite hard to measure results.   You could centralise the location of the banners and measure some stats this way but this would mean that all list owners would rely on you for providing the banner service and in that case you would definately need a custom made system.  So, to sum up, I think you will definately need a custom made system.  I'm not aware of anything ready-made which can do what you want.

We used http://www.usdatacorporation.com to purchase our b2b mailing list .   If they do not exceed industry standards, they pledge to replace the defective data 100%.  They are, by far, the best lead distributing company I have done business with.
