Hi,
If I am marketing a site about a product in Italy to the american market using a .com domain, what should I put as the 'Geographic target' in Webmaster Tools, Italy or the USA?
The business is based in Italy has been added to Google Maps.
Cheers,
Lawrence

Hi Lawrence,
I'd set the Geo. target to ve the country in which your target market exists. eg. if it;s americans in italy then it should be italy, whereas if it's americans in the US then it should be USA.
I hope this helps.
regards,
Denis

Ideally you'll want a host in the USA too.
