Hi,
I have recently attempted to create a french domain for the company i work for but i have stumbled upon various restrictions.
I know that i need to have a french address in order to finish off the .fr registration and was considering a virtual office as we do not have a business presence in France.
Does anyone know if this is a wise move? are there any recommended companies? or are there any other options out there?
Anything anyone has would be welcomed.
Thanks

I believe you need a French business number (siret?)Â before you can register a domain, I dont think just having a virtual office will work, but that might have changed in the 6 years since we last did it.
Also from a technical point of view they are picky with how you setup your DNS servers, in that they want you to do it correctly having servers on different networks etc. We got around this by using gradwell.com for the secondary.
