    Dear all,

I work in Spain for Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts at the CRM Campaign Management department.

We would like to demonstrate to our sales colleagues in America with data or stadistics that we CAN NOT send 2 o 3 non-targeted emails every week to the same customer.

Can any one help us with statistics about open rates, response rates or contact rules statistics? We want to demonstrate that massive impacts will descend the response rates, opening rates...

If you do not have statistics or data about USA, Mexico, CANADA or Brasil customers, maybe you have statistics for European customers.

Thank you very much for your help in advance!

    Raquel

    hi, Raquel, how are you?

Here's how you find demonstrate whether their strategy will work or not:

    1. Pick a handful of your email list (say 4,000 email addresses)
    2. Split them into 2 roughly equivalent groups
    3. Run a campaign of 3 emails per week to group A & 1 email per week to group B
    4. Measure the open/click/convert/unsubscribe rates for a few weeks
    5. Put together your summary

    I hope that helps!

    Hi Daniel,

Thank you very much for your answer. We are starting tests with our database, but we do not have enough tests to conclude that they are wrong (obviously we know they are...) and we would like to join statistics or data supporting our few tests.

Do you know where can I find them?

    Regards,

    Raquel
