We launched a Group on LinkedIn for ModernSelling.com back in February this year, and were getting along quite nicely, with some 800 members generating 2,600 visits in a month and it seeming to suit everyone, in terms of leaving their comments or making their further connections on there, rather than the main site, if that's what suited them.

That was around early-April to early-May but then later in May I noticed this new "Action Bar" which LinkedIn have introduced, which basically creates a frame that delivers our content up onto the LinkedIn site, and allows a rather clunky navigation around the site whilst still in that frame. Traffic has consequently plummeted (355 in the last 30 days) so we've taken the issue up with their customer services.

We've mentioned copyright amongst other issues and threatened them that bath water and baby are both heading out the window if it's not resolved, but they've so far mumbled something about looking into it, whilst maintaining the massive benefits for thier users and universal applause, and pointing me in the direction of their users forum, wherein

    a) It didn't look quite so overwhelming in its approval and

    b) They deleted my initial complaint/response

Don't know if you'll have to be a LinkedIn user to get at it, but the link is

I wondered if anyone else had any thoughts or experience of this?

    Thanks
