I am considering acquiring an online lingerie store and launching it in Europe.
I was wondering if it would be a good idea to target men as the main buyers. They are obviously not the main market, but men DO buy lingerie for their girlfriends/wives/lovers etc and I believe there is no other women's lingerie brand that actively tries to address this issue.
Do you think this could work?
Any input will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

I wouldn't target them as the main buyers, but I'd definitely cater for them as a distinct audience with separate messaging. I remember a group of women I know once discussing a lingerie store where they sold bras to men by letting them feel little bean bags to guess their partners chest size (!!!) apparently it worked really well.

I agree with Sophie Smith as i feel women understand their inner wear very well as they know which brand is suitable for them , size of the inner wear what actually they want all these factor matters a lot.
