Chris I have a quick question. I have been reading Kalakota as in Dr. Ravi, a man I am sure you will be familiar with.

With all this ERP CRM SCM SCP not forgetting Business Process re-engineering and the associated expense that goes with it, it seems to me that there is a gap in the market for a basic design that brings all these areas/functions/metrics together in one simple package (simple for the end user) and authored in something pretty well known and equally accessible Microsoft Access for example, built for and targeted at small businesses.

Of course it would be customised for each users need but the basic design of the modules and the way they interact would be standardised. I am convinced that in some cases the modules such as the finance module could be designed so they are more user frendly than some incumbent packages. Or am I barking mad?

    Hi Chris,
We operate a busy New Media company in the North West, and experienced the exact issues you mention, particularly that there was not one piece of Software to take care of these things and then provide Key Performance Indicators.

To tackle the lack of software, we developed a web based application which provided these things, and eventually commercialised it after being asked for it by a list of clients.

It's called iomis, and if you need some more info, please see
www.iomis.com Or drop me an email:

    Best Regards
