Dear friends and colleagues,
We are writing a white paper on how brands can use social media to communicate. Does anyone know of (or is responsible for) good practice in this area and would like to boast of it? Please get in touch. Use this forum or call me on 020 7793 1575.

"Gidday" Mark, (from downunder :-)
I'm also looking into a similar space at the moment and would love to start contact with anyone to see what info we can swap about social networking and how brands can get their message across accessing them? Is this the area you mean - perhaps can you expand a little on "social media to communicate". I'm now consulting in the Mobile services space but my backgound (20+yrs) was in e-commerce, EDI etc.

Hi Antzel,
Great to hear from you. Check out our blog (link below) for the kind of thing I am intererested in. Examples that come to mind are Gillette, the Borat movie, Sony Bravia's bouncing balls - the links are in this post:http://www.marketsentinel.com/blog/2006/10/marketing-movies-using-social-media
... there are probably more we haven't come across. I have to stress that we don't do this social media marketing ourselves, but we are looking for partners who do, people who understand this stuff and who can help our clients to solve the problems we identify for them.
You have mail :-)
