Hi all - simple question but I have never quite got to the bottom of it. Legally can UK companies buy domain names with overseas extensions - for example if I run a giftware online business in the UK but I want to export to france and south africa can I buy and use their domain extensions even though I dont have "presence" in that country? I think some countries like France insist you have a registered company in the country or registerd trademark but others do not. Is there a definative answer here? any help would be great.thanks
