I am currently reviewing Maximiser, Goldmine and Act for managing customers, sales and marketing including reports and forecasting. Can anyone recommedn any other systems which are similiar to Goldmine and Act or maybe a comparasion site.

Hi, We use Sage SalesLogix with an integration to our email marketing solution - CommuniGator, the two work well together for campaign planning, execution and reporting with audience preferences in campaigns recorded back to the CRM.

Goldmine and ACT are good for linking with their corresponding accounting packages. So if your accounts use SAGE you might be better opting for ACT etc.
As a standalone sales tool, Salesforce.com is a really good webtool - really intuitive and everything is done through your browser.
Hope this helps.

I would definitely look at salesforce.com which is an online hosted solution. Found it very reliable and easy to use, plus you won't get tied up with PC maintenance and synchronisation which are the major issues with Act, for example.

Hi there
weve used many systems over the years and are currently using www.salesforce.com - its very easy to use and cost effective to licence and maintain - it could be more exciting in terms of interfaces and data displays but for the price its extremely good value
Hope that helps
