I am looking for an authoring tool that would let me develop ITV applications for MHP platform. At the moment I am comparing between the AltiComposer and the Cardinal Studio. I have downloaded the evaluation kits, which I am trying. I would like to have some more information about the products that would help me decide on one. Any help?

    Yara,

I'm not very familiar with the technical attributes or features of either platform, but I have had some (minor) dealings with Alticast. I assume Alticomposer fits somewhere into their bouquet offering to iTV apps developers - if so, as you may already be aware, Alticast charge a pretty steap license fee for their products (I think in the region of $80k). If this applies to Alticomposer, I would recommend trying to negotiate the fee down by emphasising the opportunities your app will provide for product demonstration and case studies. Most of these companies are desperate for tried-and-tested examples of their platforms in action.

    Thanx Murray,

I will take this into consideration while doing my research.
