I'm working on a presentation and wanted examples of visions of the future of marketing created in films. I have one film so far - Minority Report - e.g. when Tom Cruise goes into the Gap Store, his retinas are scanned. There's also digital newspapers where stories are updated.

    Any other film suggestions?

Both of these are actually quite retro but in Sci-Fi films set in the future:

The giant advertising blimps in Bladerunner

The video panels covering the sides  of the buses in City of Men - this is probably just around the corner!

Not as good examples as the Minority Report ones though, they were the first that sprang to my mind.

    Hi Hans,

well I probably shouldn't mention the TV ads in Robocop should I? Judge Dredd is an awful movie but did have some interesting street signage going on, as of course does Blade Runner. I've actually just done a post on the blog about Inception's marketing which is quite futuristic in itself.
