    Hi,

I am a graduate based in North Yorkshire and have a keen interest in all forms of online marketing however I have found it difficult to get attention from online marketing companies as I have only exercised online marketing when designing websites for small companies during my spare time. I already have a degree in e-business and I am wondering if anyone could recommend any key qualifications or courses in specific areas which would make me a more attractive potential employee?

If further academic accreditation is not the best approach and somehow building on the little commercial experience I have, how can this be best demonstrated? And how can I add to it?

I presently work as an e-commerce business analyst for a large financial services company and despite having learned a great deal in my last year there, my interest and passion is online marketing.

    Many thanks

Good luck, there is any number of ways for you to become a successful online marketer, just find someone selling insurance or the like that needs help and get going!

    Hi Corrie and Tony

I run a website called ww.businessinberkshire.co.uk. Last month we had over 40,000 visitors to 178,000 pages. The search engines enjoy our content and I'm sure that with some great content and persistance we could get an account on BinB flying high on page one.

You'll be aware that 60% of searchers don't go beyond page 1 and 35% believe that if you are on page 1 you are an expert in your field.

I see someone with a desire to move on... someone with product to sell to new audiences and so all that is needed is a search engine elevator!

Welcome, which floor do you require!
