Can anyone point me towards any recent stats on how many new media agencies there are in the UK?

Hi Elizabeth,
We have about 2,700 new media agency listings on this site and feel that this represents the majority of the sector, though of course there will be gaps and new agencies are starting up every day, it seems.
Included in the above number are a handful of related specialists, ie PR / legal, for the new media sector. Based on these figures, we reckon there are 3,000-3,500 new media agencies in the UK.
