    Hi there,

Well assuming you're looking to get a good deal of traffic to your site you're going to have to design a site that has a lot of useful, relevant content. Once you've got such a site then you'll potentially be able to make money from your affiliate merchants.

If I were you, I'd pick an area that you're interested in or have experience in and then go and search for relevant affiliate merchants having developed a well laid out visitor and search engine friendly website. Also remember that Google is unlikely to give you a listing for 6 - 12 months nowadays (it depends on the competitveness of your keywords) and even then you need to have a well written and content rich website if you want to get a reasonable ranking for your chosen keywords.

You could always go down the pay per click route to generate traffic but when you're talking about only making money from affiliate commissions you can only really afford a fork out a small amount for clickthroughs, otherwise your returns will be negligable.

In summary .... It can be done but you have to have a great site first then worry about it making money afterwards.

    Hope that's of help.

    Maybe we can help. www.tradeco.co.uk

We have a re-seller program for memberships - which returns up to 166%. Also, our re-sellers can sell advertising in our directory - for which we pay 50% commission.

If you are interested, we have a few re-sellers selling memberships on ebay - sign up through one of them to get a special rate. Find them by searching for tradeco in the title and body of adverts (on advanced search)

    Good luck.

If you have a website, or a no longer used website, you could take advantage of the "better than banners" network which gives you a £10 amazon voucher for signing up, and then £5 vouchers for each domain that have the banner code each month. Maybe not a massive earning potential but if you have lots of domains or low traffic sites you could benefit.
