Anyone got any info re cleaning up address databases?
A client of mine is looking for someone to help on this (it's not sth I know anythg about). They apparently have loads of customer addresses in various unusable formats and
would like to get them all sorted (some are on Mac ZIP file, some are on Excel, some are on Word).
Any ideas?
Thanks

There are two options;
1). Buy QAS software and do it yourself (other pachages include Hopewiser, QuickAddrerss)
2). Go to a computer bureau to do it for you (see DMA, Direct Marketing Assoc. UK for full listing) I suggest you try PC bureaux such as Miller Starr or SDM.
Be clear about specification, volumes, formats etc. to get best price and service
All the best
