    Hi there,

I'm writing an article about Justgiving and the benefits of the services offered to charities. I'd like to make a comparison of services offered by its main competitors, who they are and if each different provider offers benefits that are more suitable to charities of specific sizes.

If anyone has any information (especially the 3 main competitors), I would be most grateful. I'll publish the article online after if anyone is interested.

    Hi again,

I've come up with a list of online donations services and was wondering if you could help me sort out the 3 main ones (with Justgiving being the biggest):

    - Justgiving (number 1)
    - CAF
    - Bmycharity
    - CommittedGiving
    - JustGive.org
    - Work With Us
    - DDO (DirectDebitOnline)
    - Charity Technology Trust (TTC)
    - SmartGive

Also this one is FREE, I would welcome your comment.

    hi, Nathalie, how are you?

Based on my very rough comparison technique (comparing number of inbound links & google pagerank for each of the charities), JustGiving's top 3 competitors from your list are:

    1. Just Give
    2. CAF
    3. DDO
    With 'workwithus' a close 4th.
    Is that any use?

    Hi Daniel,

I'm great and I hope you are well too. Well it didn't cross my mind to measure it that way, but that sounds like a good measure but may be it could be combined with other factors. What do you think? I'd also be interested to find out from charities the first names that comes to their mind. Someone told me that CAF is pretty well-known. Strangely enough, their site does not appeal much to me (that's if I was a charity). So word of mouth is also good I guess! May be looking at their income is another measure?

    Hi Nathalie,

    Other companies:
    www.bmycharity.com
www.artez.com (they're from Canada and are now coming to the UK, they work with Comic Relief)

You should speak to some charities about their experience.

    Hi Bertie,

I'm interviewing charities in October so I'll ask. www.bmycharity.com was on my list but I'll check artez out. If they work with Comic Relief, they must be good.
