You could also add the following

    Gabrielle Skelton
    Recruit Media
    Cream (formerly desktop people)
    ABRS
    Worlstation Solutions
    mediatec (formerly newmediaHR)

I will try to find the urls and expand this list (as you may be able to tell I am currently looking for a new media position/move and consequently have spent a lot of time tracking down agencies) a good link is also

Please drop me an email if anyone finds any agencies not listed or requires contact info for any of the above (or are looking for a developer/architect with >12 years industry experience).

I too have been involved in a protracted job hunt over the past 12 months and have dealt with many agencies all over the UK and Ireland, and overall they have been terrible.
Looking for a senior producer role / snr account mgt. or a dreaded move back to a clientside role was a most interesting experience.

The bigger the agency the less likely they appeared to know what they were doing , i wont name them but if they advertise in NMA or Revolution regularly then its them !

I understand of course that times have been hard , but their professionalism and understanding of both client and candidate needs are (overall) dreadful. There was a similar debate on the revolution board a month or so ago with the general new media consensus being to use monster, total jobs etc. and personal contacts and ignore the agencies who have proven inadequate services to both sides.
There are always notable exceptions , susan howstan at direct recruitment (for those with a DM background) was excellent , aquent were very professional , and imprint plc were very thorough .

    my personal view
