Can someone point me in the direction of a good consultancy specialising in the successful marketing of e-learning packages?  We are part of a university and have developed really great very pedagogically-sound language programmes that are already sold to a few higher education institutions, but the potential for a wider market is huge.  We are looking for someone to make sure we are on the right track as well as give us new tracks to explore in our packaging, pricing and promotion.   Any suggestions based on past experience?

Hi, have you had any luck yet?

I would suggest some market research into other providers then into who might be buyers of your products. There are many niche providers in this market, some with a strong heritage in language training who could provide competitive to you. This could impact the cost and therefore RoI of your marketing plans.

Techniques to consider include a reseller strategy for specialist e-learning sales companies to take your product to market, catalogue sales, online marketing including search engine marketing  to make your product range visible to the hordes of online searchers and potentially a direct sales approach if you can afford the overhead.

One of our team at Academy Internet would be happy to help you clarify your objectives, pricing, packaging, channel to market and sales planning. We have experience in marketing e-learning products and services. Either way, good luck.! Jason Woodford, Academy Internet 01273 733433
