We are going to be hosting a series of webchats on MoneySavingExpert.com. We need the ability for our users to ask questions live, but then only appear on the screen once moderated. To make this work effectively, we need the software/ widget to have an active feel and be able to cope with some very big traffic numbers. Has anyone found/used any plugins/widgets or software that can be used for this sort of thing.
I have done a through search around and keep running into sales support chat widgets that don't appear to have a broadcast capability. Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Actually I can think of a very scalable solution but it's based at doing certain things at server-level rather than a widget of some sort.
I will email you with some more details.

We've managed a number of live events for clients using the Cover It Live interface. It's a robust platform for events that happen "live" while still giving you full control over which user comments post in the viewer. We use it to moderate celebrity chats within the tween demographic -- so comment moderation is critical -- CIL is thoroughly reliable. I think you'll be very pleased with the functionality and price point.
Please let me know if I can help answer any other questions.
