As an online publisher, would you say there is a reluctance to accept payments for lone articles?
Clearly there's value in tying someone in for the year / month, but have you found anyone asking for say, a day's access for a premium? The value to you being they have to pay again once new valuable content is published.

Ashley back in 2001 you wrote an insightful article on charging for content - I would be really interested to get your updated views on this subject - especially for the B2B specialised content sector.
You also wrote in 2003 regarding e-consultancy changing their revenue model to subscriptions (individuals/corporate) and although the uptake appeared low, have things improved and without compromising your company's position, can you offer any up-to-date advice - what to do/what not to do ?
Many thanks,

I wrote some insightful articles...? Nice to know. Being lazy, could you provide URLs to them so I can re-read and do an update?
