I also have a client looking to update their website using the old version of the MS platform. I am looking for an economical solution to update the current site without migrating to a new CMS.  Client does not want to spend more money on their technology and want to rebuild using the old system.  ANy luck finding anyone for the work you are trying to acheive?

I may be able to help through some of my contacts but long term you may have an issue of finding developers and people who can support it.   Contact me with details on the exact nature of the project and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks for the comments. I am hoping the client changes his mind and goes with a new CMS platform.  I will know in about 2 weeks

Now it can probably be done on the same platform.  It's only later they may have problems.  As long as the development now is done with a future migration in mind, maybe this wil not be a bad solution.

    Hi there

Have you considered discussing with you client on open source cms option. That way the spend is not on the tech side but on the services around the system - which is probably money they would need to spend anyway. Although I must confess a vested bias, there are some excellent enterprise level open source systems around now - see the e-consultancy cms buyers guide.
