I'm currently in the process of developing a new website for SME Business Insurance.
I'm looking to outsource the content and was wondering if anybody had any recommendations ideally within the B2B Insurance sector

What kind of content are you looking for?
The easiest way to bring in content to a site is to pull RSS feeds. Most RSS feeds are free to use.

First allow me qualify my words by saying I run a copywriting company.
Having written for many sectors and types of business, what you really need is an online copywriter who produces what type of content you want. So first off decide what that is, i.e. Search Engine Optimised, Persona or Conversion Architecture etc.
Once you have that brief, look for some local(ish) copywriters. As nothing still beats a face to face meeting to ensure the brief is followed. (Most will travel about 50 miles for a good project). Check out their website and see if they can point you to anything they have written.
Some companies do specialise in writing for sectors but I can't think of any specialists for the Insurance sector, sorry.
