A client will be soon launching a networking site targeted to 16-23 year olds.

Since the budget is tight he is looking for only online activities. I am listing a few I have thought of:

    1. Blogging.
    2. Paid bloggers.
    3. Social bookmarking
    4. Viral film.
    5. Branded Microsite
    6. Online PR
    7. PPC ads
    8. Contests

Can you add more to this list?

    Thanks,

    Sunil

    Hi Sunil,

I would like to also suggest that you look at:

    • Games
    • Downloads - Desktop Toys, wallpapers, screensavers
    • Widgets - especially for use with social media
    • Collect data through the competitions etc and setup a regular email newsletter
    • Forum but only if you generate enough traffic to keep it busy.

    Hope that helps

    All the best

    Rowan

    hi, Sunil, how are you?

it depends what you mean by 'networking' (more details would be nice), but  'member-get-member' would probably be an obvious one. Most networking sites let you send an invite to all of your gmail/yahoo/hotmail (etc) contacts, have bulletins for myspace / facebook, etc.

ie. build the tools & enthusiasm into your product so that your audience can market it for you.

    is that any use?

An effective function, no doubt, but is it good pracitce?

We are always reminded that we should never give out our login details...
