Help! Can you help me find an agency to advise us on buying advertising on web sites across Europe to advertise our online poker site to drive new players to the site. We don't want to advertise in the UK (we are already strong here and its overpriced). Does anyone know of any companies who specialise in this?
You could consult our Online Advertising Networks Buyer's Guide which profiles the leading players in this market, ranging from those offering 'blind buys' to those which act as sales houses for a selected number of high-value sites. The profiles also state whether they have clients in the gambling industry. The report is available to subscribers or on a pay-per-view basis.
Hi again, looking through the ad networks report, those with the biggest European footprint include Advertising.com, Adviva, Adlink, Adpepper, 24/7 Real Media. For media-buying agencies, you could try I-Level, Media Contacts and Profero.

But the publication seems to be all for UK focused online networks, rather than European agencies.
I may be able to help. We've worked with a top international brand (health insurance sector) for the last 5 years. During this time we have developed an extensive hands-on knowledge of international online media and have campaigns running in Europe, Middle East & Asia (c. £1.5m media per annum). If you would like a no-obligation chat then please feel free to get in touch.
Hi, we have much experience of European and other languages for on line media buying so if you would like some advice please let me know. My details are at SearchLaboratory.com.

Marketing gaming sites in the US is a restricted practice, however there are ways to circumvent this - legally in a T-2 environment... Ask me how? Scott Smith / chesmedia@yahoo.com

I'd recommend GetUpdated.co.uk, specialists in poker sites with many years experience. Leading marketing firms for the biggest betting companies in Scandinavia. Also possible to advertise thru Affiliator, where you only pay for new customers (except a small set-up fee).

The Online Media Report focuses on the online advertising landscape and how media buying has evolved in the last decade. The comprehensive report, which has a US focus but is relevant for a global audience, contains a detailed analysis of the current trends and issues affecting the marketplace, as well as an overview of emerging players such as demand-side platforms (DSPs).

Hi there!
I could suggest trying Unique Digital www.unique-digital.co.uk/
As I reckon they used to deliver online marketing for some gaming sites.
And they have a pan-European client AVIS.
Pass my regards to Jonna ;) - their Client Services Manager
Hope it helps..
PS. No worries, they don't pay me [yet :D ] for referrals

Hello Crispin.
I represent a media agency that has pan-European experience
- crossmedia management (media presence, online and offline, planning
and buying, performance based, etc.)
and
- within various sectors, incl. gambling.
In particular we know the German-speaking gambling and lottery market inside out.
Perhaps you'd like to test us sometime.
Just let me know how.
Best regards
