I am looking for a PR Agency that specialises in BtoB PR - that will reach hard to get at decision makers - Be they CEO/MD's or indeed FD's. The client delivers high end leadership and change management programmes to both SME and Corporate audiences. I am also looking at top websites and publications that would also be appropriate to reach these targets. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Penny

Might I suggest that the 20% of the world is looking to do online B2B PR... the other 80% looking to fleece the general public. The 80 - 20 rule applying to most things in the real world.
I would recommend looking for good B2B web communities that deal with the appropriate subject matter. There are a few training websites around but we do pretty well in that arena www.businessinberkshire.co.uk
Check out Thomas Power at http://www.ecademy.com, he is in the training space... tell him I sent you. Then there's Jim Wade @ www.bin.co.uk who has access to some major corps. Or, my favourite, Cliff Edwards... knows loads of people, you'd think he was mad as a hatter if you didn't know he's got a IQ of about 4,000,000! www.realignconsulting.co.uk website is pants and i've told him enough times but he knows every formula that's worth knowing!!
It is an interesting topic and there are now good tools to help this process. Market Sentinel offers a service that calculates - mathematically - an influence heatmap in relation to a topic (e.g. change management) and tells you who's who, giving you valuable information about all the stakeholders, who can be companies, mainstream media, bloggers, and government agencies, telling you:
the words they use they websites they are influenced by the websites that they have influence over
This helps you
a) plan your communications strategically and b) gives PRs like our friend Katy at Immediate Future the information to target the upstream influencers - the people who influence the decision-making of the senior executives
