    Hello all,

    I am currently considering various options for an outsourced crm application service provider solution.

    My requirements are as follows.

    Simple flat relational database.
    Scalable for up to 25 users.
    Minimum fixed term of not more than a year.
    Access via IE browser.
    Competitivly priced ie below 50k per annum
    Cut down version will work off line on a PDA with Windows CE for remote salesforce.
    Upload of changes from PDA via laptop on DSL to central database. Updates to PDA in reverse direction.
    Easy to use and easy to customize.
    Quick to implement.(ie six weeks!)

    This would be a tactical solution.

    I curently have a preffered vendo-salesforce.com. I would welcome comment on this product and its various competitors.

    Hi Alasdair,

    If you are not already aware you can actually host ACT! over the web, we have teams of 60 people with 30,000 contacts hammering the database in realtime using a web browser.

    The cost is VERY low and the role out time probably about an hour, we have been the largest reseller outside of the USA for the past year and can even host a trial for you.

    Have a look here http://www.concise-acc.co.uk/wiredcontact it is a one off purchase you own the data and the software no renewals and you get field level and record level permissions to the data, your team can (if you allow it) send html emails from the data, write letters and produce reports.
