Design and web development agency pedalo limited have helped residents in Tower Hamlets and east London get interactive this month, with the launch of Home 2 Home, a local TV channel and website dedicated to their estate.

The project was developed and continues to be managed by East Thames, who provide community support services to the residents of Tower Hamlets and east London.

pedalo gladly took advantage of the opportunity to be involved with an innovative project utilising interactive mediums, designing interfaces for the Home 2 Home email portal, community website and housing estate portal.

pedalo director Tom Porter said, “there is a strong commitment by many service providers to enable information previously accessed solely via the web available on emerging platforms such as internet TV and mobile devices and therefore we will continue to invest time and resources into developing expertise in this area.”

Chief Executive of East Thames June Barnes said, “Home 2 Home is an excellent way of providing entertainment and access to information, boosting communication within the community. It also provides our residents with a facility to let us know what they want from us, and what they need”.

London-based pedalo were commissioned by East Thames in 2004 to manage the creation of a series of websites to coincide with their rebranding process and continue to work with the group to deliver innovative and interactive web solutions.
