    Hello,

My query is for any SEO workers reading this forum. When you need freelance copywriters, where do you look and advertise?

I am an online journalist, gradually building a large number of SEO clients. I need a few more to go fully freelance, though, and I want to hear how best to find such work.

Where do you look for content creators? Do you have your own in-house writers? Do you advertise projects as and when they arise? How can I best put my work and details in front of you?

All hints and tips are very welcome.

    Many thanks,

    Felicity

    Hi Felicity,

The simple answer is that most if us have an old-fashioned address book of copywriters we could call on - some we've worked with before, some we haven't; some available, some not; some good, some not.

Most of the copywriters we use in our agency come from referrals - usually from our contractors recommending their friends and colleagues.

Having said that we've just won a couple of new clients and are looking for experienced web copywriters to help. Send your CV to and we may have something for you.

    Adrian

    Hello Felicity,

My view is similar to Adrian's in that the copywriters  that we use we have mainly met through networking and referal.

Tend to try and work with the same people each time, so they understand our processess and the tools that we use.

However, we have found that having specialist copywriters is a big advantage. For instance we have one lady that is a former solicitor and specialises in copy for professional services businesses notably law. We have another chap that is a former journalist who has a completely different style and we often use for ghost writting blogs, and so on. Therefore we are always interested to hear from people that might offer us a different set of skills.

We have a few new projects starting up pre Xmas, so would be very happy to hear from you direct (ed@n3wmedia.com) and you never know we may have something for you.

    Kind Regards

    Ed
