    Hello

    Anybody have any recommendations for a company that could handle the fulfiment of e-commerce orders in terms of distribution and returns?  We have an e-commerce ordering system in place but are looking for a company to ship product once orders are taken primarily UK but also potentially on the ground in the US. The scale of the operation is small (10k products a quarter estimated) so I'm looking not for a big company solution where we will get lost but a smaller more personable solution who can really work with us on developing the service for customers.

    Any thoughts gratefully received!

    Ta muchly in advance

    Ross

    There are plenty of small fulfiment firms. I would look at the supplier ads in Catalogue & E-Business magazine (www.catalog-biz.com) and the same section in MultiChannel Marketing (www.multichanelmarketing.co.uk) magazine. Sadly neither magazine has all of the print advertisers online so you may need to buy one copy of each.

    Two companies I have dealt with (not as a client) are
    * Client Base - very small, no website
    talk to David Fanous ()

    * Braywood - bigger operation. See www.braywood.co.uk
    talk to Matt Cannon ().

    Good luck!

    Hello Ross,

    I hope you found the ideal small scale e-commerce fulfiment company you were looking for in July. If you are still looking perhaps you should take a look at Meads-Ltd - http://meads-ltd.co.uk - Look out for fulfiment companies who are willing to tailor their services around you and are capable of managing the growth you may or may not expect!

    Best Wishes,

    Sarah
