    NET-A-PORTER is an established global Internet retailer of luxury fashion labels, relied upon for it’s exceptional quality of service and eye for the next big thing.  With an expanding domestic and global market, and revenues increasing month on month, critical strategic growth is on the agenda, in order for us to achieve the objective of dominating our sector as a truly successful force in online retail.  

    As such, we are seeking a creative Online Marketing Manager.  This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and innovative individual to join a successful and growing business.  Reporting to the Head of Marketing, your key responsibilities will include contributing to and implementing our online marketing strategy and tactics including email, advertising, search engine (pay per click and organic), and managing Net-a-Porter’s relationship with our affiliates and partnerships.

    Responsibilities:
    · Developing our email systems and campaigns to increase the conversion rate, frequency and value of customer spend.
    · Manage pay per click and organic traffic and sales from search engines, in particular Google and Overture.
    · Manage existing online strategic partnerships (e.g. Vogue.co.uk, Vogue.de, Elle.com, Easylivingmagazine.co.uk and cntraveller.com)
    · Develop new relationships with similar media partners.
    · Formulation and implementation affiliate strategy
    · Account management of affiliates.
    · Online advertising strategy - Optimise online advertising against ROI (including paid listing placements)
    · Manage online promotions involving third parties, such as competitions, offers and subscription drives.
    · Manage online marketing budget, including continuous improvement of ROI.
    · Working with creative and marketing teams to ensure that all online marketing activities are in keeping with NET-A-PORTER’s brand values and guidelines
    · Traffic and sales reporting for all online marketing, including ROI, using a variety of reporting tools.
    · Input into web design/navigation to improve conversion and retention of site visitors.
    · Activities to increase the recency, frequency and spend of customers.

    Essential Skills & Requirements
    · Highly numerate graduate with minimum 4 years online marketing experience, preferably in a retail environment.
    · Direct experience of managing budgets, paid and organic search engine marketing, relationships with major media partners, email marketing campaigns and affiliate programmes.
    · Strong commercial awareness with particularly good deal negotiation and influencing skills.
    · A proven track record of delivering a significant increase in traffic and sales.
    · Ability to think clearly and calmly when faced with issues or problems.
    · Ability to cope well with the demands of a rapidly growing company.
    · Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines.
    · Pro-active and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve the Net-a-Porter offering.
    · Excellent work and customer care ethos.
