Hi
I currently have a site which we have had several attempts at working with a reputable SEO company with the past, but have never found anyone that could be classed above the title of cowboy!
We spend about £2500 a month on Adwords, but need to look at alternative methods of creating organic traffic to our site - www.goresponse.co.uk. We provide telephone answering and outsourced call centre services.
I have had contact with a company called Just Search. Does anyone have any feedback on this company and their success levels.
I also have a smaller e-commerce site that has just been launched retailing golf balls www.ballsup.biz. Need to get some SEO activity on this as well - but the returns on this site are much smaller than we have from our GoResponse site, so the spend levels would be proportionate as well.
All feedback - including what to steer clear from is appreciated!!

Hi Mark,
I don't have any direct experience with the company that you mentioned however the I work for a web design company and as a business have a guy that really does the business.
Our guy is Google & MSN accredited (which I would recommend as a must for anyone selling SEO). I would also always look for someone with a proven track record and recommendations from other companies especially on a high cost campaign).
If you like we can give you a fresh pair of eyes on your campaign - give me a call and we will have a look over it for you and discuss any further help we might be able to give you.
You can contact me either on 01225469979 or 07814009386 if you prefer email me david@outscope.com

Hi,
I use Just Search for two mail order different business.
One doing about £200k the other over a million per year on-line.
I've found them to be very helpful and flexible, they are a great source of information and advise, and appear to be able to work at different levels,
either making changes to your code or advising on ways to make the changes. I've received quality advise on many aspects of search marketing, including blog use, RSS, domain names, and link building.
Both my websites have excellent rankings for our main keywords.
Just search on google for search engine optimisation to see how well they fair themselves and they seem to do pretty darn well for such a competitive keyword.
Hope this helps, drop me a line if you want any more information.

Hi David,
no offense, but there is no such thing as a Google or MSN accredited SEO. He may well be accredited but not for his services as an SEO.
Cheers,
Martin

Hi Martin,
Apologies I didn't explain this too well :$ long day
He has accreditation from both Google and MSN as an advertising professional, from within his training and accreditation the major skill was search engine optimisation for higher organic search engine results <fyi one of the first people in the UK to receive these accreditations in early 2005>.
I did say he was Google & MSN accredited, however I did not specify that this was in the direct SEO field, but to be clear it is an SEM accreditation with an SEO skillset. However, I would standby the fact that any person considering a company should look for accreditations by other major companies whether that be Google, Overture etc.
I hope this clears things up - sorry for any confusion.
David
