Hi!
Is anyone aware whether there are many 'Social Media Audit' specialists around? If there are what sort of deliverables and costs should i be looking at?
I'm sure there is merit in such activity, but I'm yet to be fully convinced.
Thanks,

Hi there,
A good first port of call could be a company called Market Sentinel (www.marketsentinel.com). Their CEO, Mark Rogers, presented at a Chinwag event I attended about the importance of social networks back in April called 'PR Unspun'. Market Sentinel is 'a leading supplier of blog and web monitoring services' and as such, basically helps you identify the key blogs/forums/social networks/influence groups of relevance to your company, and as far as I understand, can help you monitor them and incorporate them in to your communications plan.
As this is all a very new concept to me too, I'm afraid I can't give any advice on what sort of deliverables and costs you should be looking at though.
But hopefully this might be a good starting point for you.
Regards
Sarah
