I am trying to sell 23 quad bikes. I purchased a not inexpensive Web Window ad in the Sunday Observer directing interested parties to my site. I did not get one response.
I thought you may be interested in this information and may have some suggestions on how I can search out some prospects. As always my marketing spend is limited and now significantly in the red.

I would give Google AdWords a go, as well as advertising on relevant sites.

I would sell them with a "buy now" option on Ebay.

when you say you didn't get 'one response' do you mean you didn't get a single site visit, or didn't get any communication/purchases from site visitors?
what's the URL of the site?

I don't wish to be harsh, but I imagine even if the ad had driven good volumes of traffic none of it would have turned into sales on that site.
A few points worth looking at:
- The homepage of the site has nothing to do with quad bikes, it is about boats
- when you get to the quad bikes page there is almost no information on itI looked twice at the site before I spotted the 'more information' link
- There is no phone number, and you are trying to sell a product worth almost £1,000
- Most of the product description is dedicated to a disclaimer
- The copy talks about delivery to the UK mainland yet your contact details are in Herfordshire?!
If this is a venture you are looking at carrying on in the long term, I'd suggest talking to a professional about the site, otherwise I'd set yourself up on Ebay and put some ads in Loot or a magazine dedicated to quad biking.Selling a product at that price point online is going to need some serious work to get the confidence of your customer. At the moment it looks like an afterthought to make a fast buck.
Sorry to be so negative but I wouldn't want you to go away with the idea that selling a product like that online is going to be easy.

Thank you for your advice. It is true that the extension to my normal site was rushed trough to facilitate the add. I am looking into Google Adds and will rewrite by web site with your points in mind. Thank you for your interest and comments.
