Hi, my name is Andrea Bosso and I am the founder of Domino, a 40-people digital agency in Italy.
As the agency grows, we are reconsidering our management tools. At the moment, we run our clients/project list on sugarcrm and time tracking is done via xls files.
We had a few demo (workamajig, streamtime and synergist) and would like to know your opinion.
What is your solution?

Hey Andrea,
This is something that's really diverse amongst businesses, as so many businesses out there have different needs.
As a small business, I don't know if I would suggest going for specific software now because there's software out there that can manage your business entirely much better. By specific software I mean getting a specific project management software or specific CRM software. Why not combine? As a small business you're in the perfect spot to get a software meant to manage your business as a whole.

I use the software on a daily basis for managing a variety of online work I do, but at the moment I'm actually doing contract work for WORKetc.
So, technically, I'm affiliated (call me bias) - but I use the system for my own freelancing needs and have been doing so for some time now. Their software does a great job when it comes to managing a small business and helping in terms of efficiency and automation.
Definitely worth taking a look.

We use streamtime. Have found it incredibly usefull in leui of old manual systems, as with any system though you have to religously use it or it just adds process not efficiency. Now we have the whole studio committed to time sheets we get a real visability of our projects in real time. It has a CRM - not the greatest but effective, its power is in the day to day visability of projects and opportunities. Would strongly recomend trialling it.

I had a demo and it was ok, even if I would prefer a web-based solution (streamtime is also available on the web, but is is client based, i think.)
As for WORKetc, i think it's a very interesting solution, unfortunately i did not find any "Resource Planning" page, which is very important for us.
