I'm looking for a large site build +mobile site built on the Magento enterprise platform. I'm in the process of sending out an RFI for the project but am struggling to find established agencies with any form of pedigree in delivering successful projects. I will want to speak to references and this seems to be a big problem for the couple I've found.
Any serious suggests would be really appreciated.

Hi Rodney
I guess the obvious route is to ask Magento themselves for recommendations. Have you already tried that?
BTW, I assume you know that eBay has acquired Magento (http://www.magentocommerce.com/blog/comments/ebay-agrees-to-acquire-magento/) and eBay has also acquired GSI Commerce (http://www.gsicommerce.com/news_events/news_releases/ebay_inc._completes_acquisition_of_gsi_commerce/).
Have a look at GSI's global marketing services group and who they also own - http://www.gsicommerce.com/global_marketing_services/. I don't know exactly what the planned strategy is but clearly there are agencies (http://www.trueaction.com/) in that group who can provide services to support Magento which will become a 'sister' company.

You might have sorted this by now, but if not, have a chat with Foresite, they work with some big high st brands including http://www.office.co.uk/ and Blue Inc and do lots of enterprise and community Magento.
