Just looking for other drupal SEO experts to discuss work opportunities and to build up a bit of a network on econsultancy. I have been optimising drupal sites for last 2 years and hoping to build and share knowledge.

I had been offering SEO to guys who had like 'simple' websites (not CMS based) and about 2 years ago I came across a client that wanted optimization for a Joomla based website...
Great experience it was to finally get into what felt then like a cage! We first got all sorts of teething problems like bold, fonts, titles, descriptions, h1 tags etc all playing up BUT its all good
Drupal and Joomla are similar? Are you only into Drupal? Any uniquechallenges you normally face?

The agency I work for works primarily in Drupal but we'll optimize any site. We've often encountered that clients who have already have committed to a system are hesitant to jump ship. Over the long term many have come around though. In part because we've been able to show them how they continue to pay for changes that they would otherwise be able to make themselves.

Hi Tom,
Drupal SEO is also one of the things we do. Although we do not specialise in Drupal sepcifically, we recognise that each platform, from Drupal to Domino, merely translates to a certain set of parameters to take into account during any SEO activities.

Denis

Hi Tom,
I have been doing SEO on drupal (among other CMS) for many years. Drupal is the best CMS out there, according to my opinion and I really specialize in it.
I started developing a couple of SEO modules so that both the website owner and the SEO expert working on Drupal website can benefit. Some time in the near future I'll probably release them (let's see how drupal version 7 goes first of all :)

Hi Tom, I am involved in seo activities. Also I work on Joomla for developing CMS. I am interested in how can I be part of the network to generate projects for my business? I have handled multiple projects in Canada and India in digital marketing domain.
Let me know your thoughts on how I can go about it. I am currently in India and I feel that cost can be a big attraction for clients based in US/Canada/UK/Europe to explore social media/seo projects in India
