We are looking to replace our existing image library to one that numerous people can upload to and that caters for online and print formats. Can anyone recommend a supplier or software for image libraries? Thank you.

I shall recommend us! That is, Cabinet UK. We have extensive experience in designing and building image libraries, having done so for Orange and The Image Company. We also have our own in-house developed software, PictureCabinet, which is used by most of the major and specialist museums, like the V&A and National Portrait Gallery. We have a fantastic team of developers who can build anything and we have a good reputation for focussing on usability. You can learn more at www.cabinetuk.com, or drop me a line.

We recently developed a bespoke on-line image library for AXA which you
can view at: http://images.axa.co.uk/.
The system can be easily customised/skinned to suit various business
models & workflow requirements and unlike most off the shelf
systems there is no licence fee!

Has this been done? We have a CMS that does this brilliantly and is used for Universities, Photo Agencies and online News portals managing photos.
