I'm researching hosted Ad serving solutions. So far, OpenX and Google Ad manager look good. The Online ad serving buyers guide 2008 is of course helpful, but is too old to cover Google Ad manager. Can anyone comment from their experience on these? Or on alternatives?
Many thanks

Hi Chris,
It might not be helpful to you at this particular point, but we are updating the Ad Serving Guide either towards the end of this year or at the beginning of 2010.

Don't know what scale of ad server you are interested in, but I would not put Google AdManager at the Enterprise level and indeed Google direct you to Dart For Publishers for larger scale publishers. Google are doing work on moving DoubleClick technology onto their backend with the recent launch of DoubleClick's Ad Exchange v2 being an example.
I haven't got full access to the report you mention, but looking at the summary, one noticeable absence is Yahoo who have both Apt and Right Media Exchange.
