We were a very happy Protx customer for several years but since they've been taken over by SagePay, things have really gone down hill.
They don't communicate enough to their customers and their 'new and improved??' system is down all too frequently.
As I type, everything is down and has been for 2hours 40 mins, leaving us unable to accept any orders on what was set to be our busiest day of the year, hence the reason for my post.
We're strongly considering moving providers but struggling to find many reviews out there so are hoping for some reccomendations.
We're looking for a robust supplier with a well known customer base and a strong commitment to customer service. They need to provide api integration, payments and refunds, telephone and online payments, pcidss, robust fraud tools, paypal integration - basically everything sagepay does but with less downtime and better service!
Would be really interested to hear if anyone could suggest providers we could look into!
Thanks in advance

I know exactly what you mean. We have found that Sagepay (formerly Prox) downtime has increased together with the response times of their customer service centre. I have waited over an hour to try and get hold of someone before. Even now virtually every week we get a message to say that some service level is degraded or maintenance is planned.
They then had the cheek to try and increase their charges earlier this year!

Hi, interesting that someone has mentioned cardsave; I am a business development consultant for them. Over the last 3 years we have had zero downtime and I don’t expect that to change any time soon.
If anyone would like further details on the benefits of using our services please feel free to contact me.
