Role Overview
Our HQ in Warrington, Cheshire seeks an enthusiastic Account Manager to join its expanding Client Services department.
Here at Latitude, the Account Manager acts as the vital link between the external client and the internal Operations team, meaning all client communication is channelled via the Account Manager who then briefs in the operations team. The Account Manager is solely responsible for the management of client campaigns spanning an exclusive portfolio, as well as the development of new and existing relationships.
Role Responsibilities
- Report on all client areas of the campaign(s) to the Senior Account Manager
- Retain all profitable and potentially profitable clients
- Propose and implement client portfolio growth strategy and tactical plans
- Ensure that the clients’ expectations in terms of campaign deliverables, service and efficiencies are met and exceeded
- Increase sales and revenue by extending networks and relationships
- Identify and maximise the opportunities within the client portfolio to increase
- revenue by cross selling, extending the contract period and increasing the investment and margins
- Advise and educate client – arrange educationals and attend pitches
- Monitor and proactively reduce aged debtors within own portfolio
- Provide options and solutions for client issues within own portfolio
- Alert to competitor activity within the industry and to eliminate potential negative impact within own portfolio
- To ensure all issues are addressed and managed and that clients are continually updated and informed
Role Tasks
- Devise and implement growth and retention strategies and plans
- Maintain records of the accounts won and lost and reasons for success or failure using Salesforce
- Monitor and report to clients and the Senior Account Manager on current campaign performance
- Introduce and up-sell new products to existing clients
- Regularly review competitor activity and industry trends
- Identify and build relationships with the clients’ key influencers and decision makers
- Take appropriate action to control the aged debtors list
- Maintain up to date knowledge of Latitude and search engines product and service offerings
- Implement the company’s performance management system and processes
- Deputise for the Senior Account Manager when required
- Complete any job related tasks as specified by the Senior Account Manager
Candidate Requirements
Key experience/skills
The anticipated successful candidates will poses;
· Knowledge of digital marketing including email, display, affiliate, SEO & PPC channels
· Experience of planning digital marking campaigns
· Experience of running PPC campaigns
· Experience of negotiating contracts
· Knowledge of the digital arena and key competitors
· GAP qualified (not essential)
· Experience of presenting campaign reviews to clients
