We have a growing team of London-based search marketing experts driving the business forward, supported by 170 account handlers, business analysts and engineers in our Mountain View, CA, headquarters.  Our office is on Shaftesbury Avenue, in the heart of central London.

 

The Role

The Account Manager is the primary client contact for the management of search marketing programs. You will understand clients’ needs, work with our team to implement search marketing programs that meet those needs, and deliver presentations and recommendations directly to the client. 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Manage daily communications between the client and internal team 
  • Maintain and communicate project status including issues, deliverables and project progression 
  • Set and manage client expectation
  • Analyse performance data on search marketing campaigns to identify opportunities for growth
  • Take a hands-on role in planning new campaigns and coaching our search marketing specialists in the details of implementing those campaigns on Google, Yahoo and MSN. 
  • Monitor budgets, ROI and schedules 
  • Understand client’s business, industry, competitors, key drivers, environment 
  • Support rest of the Account Management team in strategic endeavors

 

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will play a key role in growing Efficient Frontier’s business in Europe.  To join a small team of dedicated professionals they will need to be highly motivated and hard working looking for a fast track career path in an innovative and fast moving industry.

 

  • Fluency in English.  German and other European languages desirable.
  • 2+ years experience in paid search engine marketing.
  • Client facing experience a must. 
  • Online display media or onsite conversion optimisation a plus.
  • Excellent verbal/written/oral communication skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate empathy and commitment to the client, proven ability to manage expectations
  • Fluency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • BA/BS or equivalent
