 About the Role

A unique opportunity has now become available fore an experienced Affiliate Planner to join the i-level team. This role involves the direct management of affiliate and network relationships as well as ensuring optimum return on investment for a portfolio of i-level clients. The role involves working across numerous account teams within the agency to deliver client expectations as well as working within a dedicated affiliate team to deliver strategy and implementation of client affiliate campaigns. i-level place a strong focus on ensuring that affiliate activity delivers both volume and value for a client with an emphasis on maintaining openness, transparency and the correct ethics of affiliate marketing.

Principle tasks & responsibilities

The Affiliate Planners role is varied, although some of the main responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with affiliates and other third party media owners
  • Engendering strong relationships with affiliate networks and other technology providers.
  • Developing strategy for i-level’s affiliate clients to drive incremental results through the performance channel.
  • Managing implementation of affiliate strategy in line with the client’s marketing objectives.
  • Optimising and reporting on the performance of the affiliate channel to both internal and external clients.
  • Recruitment of new affiliate partners and channels to drive incremental business.
  • Education of the client to extol the virtues of performance marketing.

Candidate Requirements

To excel in this role, you would have at least one years solid affiliate experience on client, network or agency side. A high level of affiliate market awareness required, including important trends and identification of new and existing opportunities either within existing client campaigns or for new clients. You will have a good understanding of how affiliate marketing should drive incremental sales and a commitment to upholding the correct ethics of affiliate marketing.

Skills and personal attributes required

  • Strong interpersonal and client handling skills – to represent i-level in a personable and professional manner through quality of communication, ideas and personal presentation
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • High level of numeric ability 
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to identify new opportunities and implement appropriately
  • Enthusiasm, stamina, determination and perseverance
  • Good knowledge of general Microsoft Office software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent grasp of Internet software - browsers, operating systems etc.
