Job Description
The Role
- To implement the email marketing strategy for Argos.co.uk
- To be responsible for:
- Briefing email campaigns
- Managing the creative process through to sign-off
- End delivery and quality control of the email programmeWork with Digital Customer Retention Manager to develop and improve on existing customer contact strategy
- Liaise with key suppliers, ensuring that their work supports online retention activity and is delivered to a high standard
- Working with key suppliers to initiate improvements for customer retention online
- Update and maintain customer retention KPI reporting
- To use results of previous campaigns to improve all relevant KPIs to deliver yr on yr improvements and to recommend future activity
- Develop and manage test and learn programme to improve existing email campaigns
- To manage & develop the online competition programme for Argos.co.uk
- To initiate email-only competitions to incentivise and reward existing customers
- To be responsible for the delivery of all online competitions from brief through to rep
- To work with Customer Services to ensure that online customer queries relating specifically to the email marketing programme are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner
- To ensure that all email and promotional initiatives are communicated to key contacts within Customer Services
Candidate Requirements
The Person
Graduate calibre
A good understanding of CRM and digital marketing practices. Experience of email marketing preferable.
Good awareness of the role of customer data when making marketing decisions and planning campaigns.
Experience of managing marketing campaigns.
Proven experience of working with agencies and suppliers
Good communication and influencing skills
Sound analytical skills and ability to interpret data to produce commercial recommendations.
A good level of creativity
